All Charged Up for National Drive Electric Week

The transportation sector accounts for 40 percent of Oregon's greenhouse gas emissions. As we mentioned in our recently-published Biennial Zero Emission Vehicle Report, moving to cleaner, alternative fuel transportation options, like zero emission vehicles, can reduce those harmful GHGs and help Oregon reach its climate goals.

At ODOE, we work with our partners to share milestones toward our ZEV goals, educate the public about electric vehicles and charging, help implement the state’s strategy to reduce GHG emissions in the transportation sector, offer guidance to business and government fleets that want to make the switch to ZEVs or other alternative fuels, and more.

But ODOE staff aren't just talking the ZEV talk at work, they're leading by example and going electric at home! Check out a few of ODOE’s electric vehicle family members below.

Learn more about the benefits of electric vehicle ownership, incentives, charging, and more on the Go Electric Oregon website.

Already make the switch? Snap a pic of your EV and help us celebrate National Drive Electric Week with a social media post. Share your favorite things about driving electric with your friends and family using hashtag #GoElectricOR – and don’t forget to tag us! Insta/TW: @ODOEnergy FB: @OregonDepartmentofEnergy
